In January 2005, Randy served as Chairman-Elect of the Kentucky Broadcasters Association. January 2006 he assumed the gavel from Steve Langford of WAVE-TV in Louisville as the "Chairman of the Board."

Randy resides in Hindman with his wife Marcia and their six children and has served as the district director for several years. He was very honored to have been selected for this prestigious position by his fellow broadcasters.

The KBA represents radio and television stations in every county and city in Kentucky.
